As a food writer, editor and cook with formal training from the Culinary Institute of America, I’ve got a big appetite for all things delicious. This blog is a compilation of my gastronomical experiences, miscellaneous food musings, and of course, recipes. Like a meal that I have prepared for you myself, you can bet that everything served here is made with honesty and love.
Cook’s Book is like the ever-expanding, oil-spotted, torn and tattered, dog eared and stuck together recipe book that sits on top of the refrigerator. In these pages, I scribble inspirations for recipes to try and neatly write down the ones that are successful; it’s a place where between accounts of kitchen trials, triumphs and “oops,” I can wax poetic about cherries at the farmers' market if I want to.
I see food as a world of culture, creativity, rewarding hard work, and endless discoveries. I’m so happy to have you here to share in this exciting world, to learn with me and to enjoy great food together.
Thanks for stopping by!
“There is no greater love than the love of cooking. One always cooks for another.”
